Earn the maximum return on your deposits with certificate accounts that are much more flexible than a bank's CDs. We let you pick your own term, bump up your rate or add to your deposit. First select your certificate accounts length, anywhere from 180 days to 1,825 days. Then once during your term, you can choose to either bump up your rate to our current rate or add funds to your certificate account.


SMCU certificate accounts require a $1,000 minimum to open. Dividends are compounded daily and paid monthly, quarterly or at maturity, depending upon the term.
