Online Banking: Logging In For The First Time

 

 

Step 1
Log into your Online Banking account at smcu.com using your Member Number and the last four digits of your Social Security Number. Click the "Sign In" button.

Step 2
A screen will appear, asking you to read the Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT) Agreement and Disclosure. Once you have read and agreed to the terms, press the "Accept" button to continue.

 

Step 3
Now select a unique Online Banking password. Enter the last four digits of your Social Security Number in the first field. Then type your new password in the next field. Type your new password one more time in the last field to confirm. Once you have entered your new online password in the provided fields, press the "Change Online Banking Password" button.

Step 4
If your new password met the criteria, a pop-up screen will inform you that your password has been successfully changed. Press "Click here to continue."

Step 5
Now you will need to select 3 "challenge" questions from the drop down lists. Once you select your questions, fill in your answers in the blank areas provided. Once you have filled in all of the fields provided, click the "Continue" button.

Step 6
If the e-mail address you entered in the previous window is not in our records, this pop-up will appear. Press the "OK" button, to use this e-mail.

Step 7
This pop-up screen will show the questions you selecetd, and the answers as you typed them. Verify that this information is correct, and press "OK." You may want to document this information for your records.

Step 8
Now add extra security to your Online Banking account. If you do not want to add extra security press "Add it Later." If you would like to add extra security press "Add it Now."

Step 9
If you selected to add extra security, press "OK" on this pop-up screen.

Step 10


Press "Continue" on this pop-up screen.
